We have classes for everyone (from absolute beginners to advanced) and with our help you will progress quickly and confidently through the various levels.

IELTS is especially useful for students who want to go on and study at an English university or college. It is not a 'pass' or 'fail' exam - it only tests your level of English at the time of the test and is graded up to level 9.0 (you normally need 6.5 to enter a UK university).

We have full-time and part-time Business English courses to give you confidence in using English in a business environment. During the course, you will learn and practice the language used in meetings, presentations, telephoning and written communication.

Our training programme is comprehensive and includes components specifically designed to help our students prepare for the Academic IELTS exam, increase their knowledge of specialist medical vocabulary, improve their General English language skills and settle into English life.

Tourism & Hospitality

Our Travel and Tourism Course can last from one month to one year and will depend on your level of English when you start and how much time you have to achieve your goals. During the course, you will improve your General and Business English skills, and build your vocabulary so that you will feel confident in using the terminology of the Tourism and Hospitality industry.

Working closely with your teacher, your course will be designed especially for you. You’ll get more practice than if you studied in a group, so you should progress faster.

Intensive English Courses

If you only have a short time in which to improve your English, then perhaps a 20, 25 or 30-hour intensive course is better for you. But it's hard work, so try to avoid 30 hours, because you will feel VERY tired at the end of the day and have no time for shopping or sightseeing!

Centre School Course Information

COURSE INFORMATION 2008

Centre School course prices INCLUDE a Student Book and worksheets if you pay in advance for 8 weeks or more.

Examination fees are NOT included.

Accommodation with a quality host family (single room, breakfast & evening meal) is extra and is charged at £100 a week.

Accommodation in a self-catering student house or flat is available from £60 a week.

UK Public Holidays 2008

(there are no lessons on these days)

In 2008, there will be a one-week holiday during the summer (June 23 -27) and a four-week holiday over Christmas and New Year (2008/2009) when the school is also closed. Some extra one-week breaks may also be announced later!
